Burlington High School
Burlington High School is located at 400 McCanna Parkway in Burlington, Wisconsin.The High School conducts public classes for grades 9th - 12th and a current enrollment of 1356 students. They have their own radio station, 89.1 WBSD on campus and offer several extra-curricular activities such as the traditional girls' and boys' basketball, volleyball, swimming, and track. Forensics, Drama, and Music (both vocal and band) are also available, among other activities.
Catholic Central High School
Providing a Catholic based education to approximately 227 students, Catholic Central High School is located at 148 McHenry St. in Burlington, Wisconsin.
The curriculum at CCHS is offered to students in 9th - 12th grade with any race, religion, or ethnic background. CCHS focuses on creating a strong academic background to promote lifelong values. They offer the traditional Football, Basketball, Tennis, Track, and Volleyball, as well as Key Club, Art Club, Bike Club, and an Academic Decathalon, among other sports and actiivties.
Gateway Tehnical College
Gateway Technical College, Burlington campus, is located at 381 S. McCanna Rd. The Burlington location is one of four GTC locations offering over 70 career options with eager faculty and staff waiting to help you achieve your career goals. Gateway also offers financial aid and placement assistance.
Nettie E. Karcher Middle School
Named after one of the first women lawyers in Burlington, Karcher Middle School is located in the former Burlington High School Building at 225 Robert St. in Burlington. Karcher holds classes for 7th - 8th grade with 553 students currently enrolled.
Edward G. Dyer Intermediate School
Like Karcher, Dyer Intermediate School is named after a distinguished Burlington native. Edward G. Dyer was one of the first settlers in Burlington and also its first doctor. Dr. Dyer was known for "Making a difference" and that's the motto of Dyer Intermediate School, "Make a difference! Care, Share, do your best." Dyer is located in the former Burlington Junior High School building at 201 S. Kendrick Ave. in Burlington. Dyer is home to 4th, 5th and 6th graders with a current enrollment of 532 students.
Cooper Elementary School
Cooper Elementary School is located at 249 Conkey St. in Burlington. Cooper Elementary was named after a Representative from Wisconsin, Henry Allen Cooper, who was elected representative to Congress from the first district of Wisconsin 18 times, graduated from Burlington High School and practiced law here. Cooper has a current enrollment of 336 students, is a public school, and teaches PK through 4th grades.
Dover Center Elementary School
Located in the former St. Mary's School in Kansasville, about ten miles east of Burlington, Dover Center Elementary is a public school for grades K through 4th grade with a current enrollment of 90 students.
Students at Dover Center learn the traditional core classes, such as Math, Science, and Social Studies, as well as Music, Art, Physical Education, and Computers.
Lyons Elementary School
Newly remodeled, Lyons Center Elementary School is located at 1622 Mill St. in Lyons, about five miles southwest of Burlington. Kindergarten through 4th grade students are taught here, with a current enrollment of 205 students. Lyons Center's mission is to develop the intellectual, physical, vocational, creative, cultural, and social capabilities of their students.
Waller Elementary School
Waller Elementary School is located at 195 Gardner Ave. in Burlington. They have a public K- 4th grade program, as well as an English as a Second Language Program and the traditional English, Math, Science, and Social Studies Programs. Music, Art, and Physical Education are also offered.
Winkler Elementary School
The new Winkler Elementary School opened in 1999 and is located at 34150 Fulton St. in Bohner's Lake, Wisconsin. The new location offers a larger school and playground making it better for our students. Offering the traditonal core classes, as well as Music, Art, and Physical Education, Winkler is a public school for grades K - 4 and currently enrolls 203 students.
Southern Lakes Alternative High School
The Southern Lakes Alternative High School allows students who have struggled in regular high school due to various reasons such as health issues and family situations. The Alternative High School is located accross the street from Karcher Middle School at 209 Wainwright Ave. in Burlington. The school was founded in 1996 and houses approximately 45 students in 9th - 12th grades. They offer their program to students from the Burlington, Waterford, Union Grove, Westosha, East Troy, and Wilmot districts.
Wheatland Center Elementary School
A public Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade school, Wheatland Center Elementary School is located at6606 368th Ave. outside of Burlington. Wheatland Center offers the traditional core classes of Science, Math, Social Studies, and English and presents theircurriculum to 490 students in Kenosha county.
St. Mary's Catholic Grade School
St. Mary's Catholic Grade School promotes a strong education for 371 students in Kindergarten through 8th grades and is located at 225 W. State St. in Burlington. A full curriculum focuses on the core classes, as well as Art, Band, Chorus, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, and Technology. Activities such as Student Council, Sports, Cheerleading, and Technology Club are also available.
St. Charles Catholic School
St.Charles Catholic Grade School is a unique Catholic School serving students from Catholic and non-Catholic backgrounds in grades K3-8 .The school is accredited and is staffed by a fully certified and degreed faculty. The learning environment is structured emphasizing a strong foundation in basic skills. The core curriculum of religion, reading, math, science, social studies, and language arts is enriched with art, technology, music, physical education, and Spanish. Tuition assistance is available.
Cornerstone Christian Academy
Cornerstone Christian Academy offers an A.C.E. curriculum to K - 12th graders and is located at 1553 Church St. in Lyons.They are Non-Denominational and offer individualized training.
Lifetime Learner's Montessori School
Lifetime Learner's Montessori School is located at 257 Kendall St. in Burlington and offers 1/2 day sessions to ages 3 -6 years of age and are State Licensed.
