STORY TIME:   Fall Story Time with Ms. Joy begins Tuesday, Sept. 14, from 10:30 – 11 a.m., and runs Sept. 21, 28 and Oct. 5 and 12.  The goal of each half-hour session is to encourage pre-school children to develop an interest in books and reading. Come listen to a story and sing some songs! No registration is necessary.

HEY KIDS: WannaWatchaMovie?  Our free movie series for children continues Friday, Sept. 24, at 1:15 p.m. with a film based on a popular book about a wimpy kid and his friends. Visit the library or www.burlingtonlibrary.com for more information.  Registration is required (so we know how much popcorn to make!).  Please call or stop by the Circulation Desk to sign up.

PRESCHOOL FUN WITH LOVE, INC.:  “ABC, Music and Me” with Linda Breuer from Love, Inc. runs Wednesdays, Sept. 15, 22, and 29, and Oct. 6, 13, and 20 at 9:30 a.m.This program highlights Kindermusik and is a fun way for parents and their babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to sing, listen, move, play, learn and build early literacy and language skills.  There is no cost for this program.  For more information, contact Linda Breuer, Children’s Resources at Love, Inc. at (262)763-6226.

BOOK CLUBS:  New members are always welcome to join the Teen and Youth Book Clubs; call Ms. Joy for information or just stop by a meeting.  The Teen Book Club will meet Tuesday from 3:30-4 Sept. 21 to discuss BORDERLINE by Allan Stratton.  The Youth Book Club meets Wednesday from 4-4:30 Sept. 22 to discuss THE SHADOWS, Book One of The Books of Elsewhere by Jacqueline West, and WHERE THE MOUNTAIN MEETS THE MOON by Grace Lin. 

ll programs at the Burlington Public Library are free and open to the public.
