Welcome to Burlington Buzz!

Burlington, Wisconsin...

...is the best of all worlds, as it's situated between Milwaukee and Chicago with easy access to both metros. So, a short, sweet drive easily gets you to the big city, while each day you are lucky enough to enjoy the easy lifestyle offered by this unique and beautiful midwest small town.

Unique? Yes! While many Wisconsin towns boast a body of water to call their own, Burlington is blessed with several. The quiet confluence of the White and the Fox Rivers near the heart of downtown Burlington is undoubtedly the cornerstone. But, a short hop to the east lies the gem of western Racine County, Brown's Lake. Nothing brown about Brown's, upon whose shores lie one of the best beaches around. So pack your picnic and bring the kids. Or, choose to mosey on down any summer Saturday evening to witness the Aquanauts ski show and you'll be a Burlington regular for sure.

Burlington's shopping district is vast and varied. Downtown hosts a historic goldmine of restored buildings and authentic atmosphere. Here you'll find shops, museums (don't miss the Top Museum on Milwaukee Ave. and definitely partake of the Chocolate Museum hosted by Burlington's Award-Winning Chamber of Commerce smack in the middle of the "Loop"), theatre, restaurants and parks. With all this activity, Burlington's city center is more robust than ever.

Industry abounds as well...notably Nestle, which dispenses its delicious chocolate aroma on a regular basis. But, there are many other industries calling Burlington home: Lavelle Industries, Saint Gobain, NEL Frequency Controls, Pieters Concrete, Hiliter Graphics, Scherrer Construction, Wanasek and the list goes on.

Burlington: truly an admirable Wisconsin town.

You can find more information about Burlington at the Burlington Chamber and at the excellent City of Burlington websites. So, if you’re looking to spend a day or a lifetime in Burlington, you’re in the right place!

Caregivers Commissioned to Serve Community
Trinity recently commissioned twelve caregivers to provide support, encouragement and prayer to members of the community. These caregivers work under the direction of Joyce Rossen, Trinity's Prayer and Care Coordinator, to reach out to people in their homes, nursing homes and hospitals in times of need. Joyce is a Christian counselor, licensed in the state Wisconsin and Illinois, and is available to anyone in need of counseling services. The first consultation is always free, and subsequent visits are $30.

For more information or to schedule an appointment with Joyce, contact Trinity Church at 262-279-3052 or go to www.TrinityChurchFamily.com.
